The history of Icelandic currency has about two hundred years. This publication attempts to organize and catalog the booms and coins that were in circulation in Iceland. It contains images of them.
Coupons are presented from 1771 and coins from 1926 (when Iceland was part of the Kingdom of Denmark).
The preface is in two languages – Icelandic and English. The main text is in Icelandic. Despite this, the information presented is clear. A brief Icelandic-English glossary is included in the catalog (on page 10).
